Welcome to 4 Sisson's and A Dog, actually 2 dogs. Life in McCool can be a bit chaotic with two little girls but we would not have it any other way. Hope you enjoy reading about our adventures as nothing stays the same long and the fun times we have as a family. Happy Reading!

Rain+Wind+Storm=Daddy Work

This week has been a very lonely week per say. Brian is now working franchise crew (french fry as Mollie says), he is gone 4 days a week and home Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This week is has been commuting since he is pretty close to the job. I thought we would be able to see him more but it has been hectic.

Monday he called and told me he was gonna be late his truck was messing up. After working on it with a friend so he could get it home, it was 1045 and I was exhausted.

Tuesday he left for work and then his dad and him worked till 1130 that night.

Wednesday night he called and the weather was bad in Jackson so he would be late getting in, at 2AM Thursday he got home.

He went back to Jackson yesterday and at 4AM this morning he called to tell me he was staying in Jackson he was to exhausted to drive home. I TOTALLY understand. A Daddy in Jackson well is better than a Daddy that gets hurt trying to get home from exhaustion.

Macee and Mollie are really good troopers. They understand when the weather is bad that Daddy fixes everyone else's lights.

Maybe we will get to see Brian if the weather permits this weekend.

Also I ask that everyone remember when the weather is bad, they can only work so fast. I get frustrated without electricity too but I also want my husband and best friend to come home SAFE and ALIVE!!!

A New Addition

For those who are wondering, the new addition is a plant in my office. I apologize if the title is misleading.

My very dear friends, Don and Shan, from Bloomers (http://www.bloomerspetals.com/) picked out this beautiful ponytail palm for my office. They know I have a BLACK thumb and would kill any other plant. The picture is from a website because the camera on my phone stinks. I recommend Bloomers to everyone for any occasion. They are very talented florist and have an awesome selection of gifts. Thank you Don and Shan and also Tanner.

Today I ate lunch with them. We had hamburger steak with onion and gravy, toast, salad, and either baked potato or french fries. KUDDOS to Handi Mart. I enjoyed the time. I also go to play with Tanner (Don's Lab). He has no clue he is a dog. He is so well mannered and loves to play ball, go over, he would be delighted to see you.

Well now back to work.

Shoes are on the Way

Okay, I have been stressing since Sunday because I could not find shoes (the right one's) for Macee to start school. She wanted "Pink and grey Shox" these are the only ones that would do however; her favorite color is blue and originally she wanted blue shoes.

Yesterday during lunch I hovered Kosciusko looking for "HER" shoe. With no luck which was no surprise to me I finally decided to make some calls, still no luck. Today I turned to the WWW and found the perfect shoe, ordered, and now hopefully it will be here soon.

On a different note.....

Macee and Mollie got their ears pierced last night. Macee was such a trooper and Mollie screamed for a little bit. If you were anywhere near Wal-Mart around 6:15 last night,I was not beating my child she was just pissed.

And it's Monday Again

What a weekend we had..... Friday night was pretty dull, the ladies "taped off" a dump truck so it could be painted and the guys stood around shot pool and told us what a great job we were doing. Thanks for the support boys..... Saturday morning my NeeNaw (grandmother) kept the girls while Brian, Brice, Angie, and I went to the reservoir. This was a trip, first we got in the reservoir and played a while, we got off track and hit a stob (no damage THANK YOU LORD), then we run aground, and then Angie (5 weeks from delivery) got nauseated and when we pulled to dock this guy jumps out of his truck and runs back to our boat and wants to know what our intentions are. Please have a little respect, we were here first and not to mention we have an extremely pregnant lady aboard. You will have plenty of time to get your little ragamuffin lookin jet ski in when Brian backs the boat away. People are so rude and inconsiderate. After we left we come home got the little ladies and went to the pool. At this point I am exhausted but put on the trooper face and head back for more boys playing pool while the ladies "untapped the truck", while is it always the ladies that work? Sunday was a pretty lazy morning. We slept till 1030 then decided to head to Jackson to finish up school shopping. Macee was with us and was a very good little shopper (SHOCK). The people at Dogwood however; are RUDE!!!! At 5 till 6 we went in to get Macee a pair of tennies and the guy said it is 6 we are closed. Well DANG apparently buying a 4 year old a pair of shoes takes like an hour. Hope he got to church or wherever he was going on time. Well that is my soap box and now it is Monday and I get to spend my lunch break buying tennies..... HOW I LOVE MOTHERHOOD (seriously).

Here we go....

I am new to this so I will give it my best shot. Hit me with your best shot.... (sorry flash back). Brian and I are beginnning to adjust to life with two very sassy rowdy girls. After having one for 4 years and the other for 2 years you would think we would have already accomplished this task. Fear not it is an everchanging routine. Nothing is ever the same two days in a row much less two hours straight.

Macee is starting "BIG SCHOOL" on August 7. Brian has adjusted well; however Mama not so well. This is my baby. Granted she has been in daycare but this is serious business. I am not sure I can handle this change. Macee is more than ready and wants to go already.

Mollie has now decided after 6 months of pleading and begging and finally giving up and moving on that she no longer needs to wear diapers. (Refer back to nothing is ever the same). We are so very excited for her and her accomplishment. She has lasted all week so far with only barely 1 accident (just a drop before she got to the pot).

So now that I have rambled about the last few days at the Sisson house, I shall now do some work.
