Welcome to 4 Sisson's and A Dog, actually 2 dogs. Life in McCool can be a bit chaotic with two little girls but we would not have it any other way. Hope you enjoy reading about our adventures as nothing stays the same long and the fun times we have as a family. Happy Reading!

December 19, 2003

December 19, 2003, is a day I will always remember. It is on that day in a cozy chapel in Gatlinburg, TN that I became Mrs. Brian Sisson.

I am married to a devoted father, loving husband, and plain out "Good Ole County Boy". Happy Anniversary to my best friend. I love you this much.

Six years later I am still in love with this wonderful man and we have our "GREATEST" accomplishments to remind us of that love.

Macee's 1st Ornament

The title is somewhat misleading, I apologize. Macee has many ornaments, actually, one for every year since birth. The ornament I am referring to is her first ornament from BIG SCHOOL.

I am so proud of her and all her "masterpieces". The ornament is now proudly displayed on our tree.

Cocoa Mae Sisson

I thank God for the wonderful family Brian and I have. Brian's Aunt Sandra (San) raises Miniature Dachshund's. Macee told us Wednesday night that she wanted a baby "wienie dog". Yesterday I called San and asked her if she had any for sale, her reply "No mam, I have one to give the girls". San is awesome she has never missed a birthday or any major event in MK and MC's life. We love her so much.

THANK YOU SAN FOR ALLOWING COCOA TO BECOME PART OF OUR FAMILY!!!!!

Caliber

Our puppy Caliber (golden retriever) died last night due to a blood clot in his lung passing to his heart. Brian and I have not told the girls yet. He and I both are very upset and want to be stable and calm when we tell them. Please pray for our family. If you have ever lost a pet you know how close you become to them. Caliber would have been 1 year old tomorrow.

My New Toy

I got a new toy this week just in time for Mollie's 3rd birthday party. I know how cool, Mom gets a new toy for the baby's birthday.

It is a Nikon Coolpix L20. It is awesome. I am going to have a blast taking pictures of the birthday girl with my new sleek camera.

Twitches

Macee and Mollie were "Good" Witches this year. They were so cute.

The cutest witches in the world.
The "GANG". We had two witches, a spider, Bumblebee (transformer), a princess, and a pirate mistress.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
TRICK OR TREAT

Pumpkin Carving

The pictures are out of order but the crazy blog is acting up so I am doing the best I can. We carved pumpkins the week before Halloween. Macee thought is was awesome and Mollie thought it was nasty.

Punishment

Macee got a purple face at school yesterday for talking after being asked repeatedly not to. I made her write "I will not talk in class" 5 times and also she was not allowed to play or watch TV. As I was cooking supper she came and asked me is that was her "push ment", I said your what? she said, "Mama when you act ugly you get pushment don't you". So I said yes Macee this is your punishment.

It was so sweet to hear her trying to explain to Mollie at bedtime that if she was not good at school she was gonna get pushment too.

Two Little Monkey's Playing In The Bed

Bedtime is always a "fun time" at our house. Macee Kerr and Mollie refuse to sleep in separate beds so we took out the toddler beds and put in a full size. Being in one big bed poses lots of issues and bedtime. MK and MC think it is time to wrestle and giggle and play. We go round and round each night to try to get them to sleep; however I could not resist these sweet pictures last night. Girls are so much fun and this age is priceless.

Happy Fall Yall!!

These outfits are not "Fall" but NeeNaw (MK and MC great grandmother) bought them for the girls and they are too adorable not to have a picture made in.

My New Appliance.....just not the one I wanted

Last night I got home about 630 and started cooking supper. As I went to fix tea glasses around 7 I got irritated because Brian had used all the ice and the trays were not frozen yet, then I made the discovery...... The compressor on the fridge had went out. EVERYTHING in the fridge was spoiled because apparently it had quit either in the night or early yesterday morning and I was at work and Brian in Jackson so no one knew and the stuff in the freezer was quickly thawing.
I called Brian and told him to get home we had a slight emergency. At 730 last night we are making a bat out of hades trip to Lowes in Starkville to get a new fridge, I have been looking at new stoves for about two months but hey when you gotta have a fridge you gotta have a fridge. So here is her debut.

Maybe I can talk Brian into the stove for my Anniversary/Christmas. Unlike most women I love to get an appliance I can use for these occasions. For my Anniversary.Christmas three years ago I got a washer and dryer.

I really do love the new fridge though.

Our First Progress Report

Macee got her first progress report last night at open house. As any mother would be I am very proud of her and her grades. She got all "+" which means she has mastered all the skills so far. She also got satisfactory in behavior and manners. We were also told that she is excelling way past her level. I AM ONE PROUD MAMA!!!!!!

We also got to meet her music teacher and the librarian (we already knew them but MaeMae wanted to tell us who they were). We are so thankful for those in Macee's and our life's who have helped her to excel and taught her so much.

More Flood And An Update....

I really think we are now experiencing Hurricane Health Attack in McCool!

Yesterday we went for Brian's finger to be repaired. Dr. Lucas is a wonderful man and did a great job. The damage however was worse than we anticipated. The tendon was so severed it could not be repaired. Two different bones were broken so Dr. Lucas removed the pieces, filed it down, scrubbed it really well with antibiotic wash and out a pin in. The pin will keep the finger straight so that scar tissue can form a "makeshift tendon". He goes back Wednesday for a check-up and gets the pin removed in 6 weeks. Brian is in pain but handling it ok.

Now on to the Hurricane. At 130 AM Brian got up sick, not sure if it is pain or the stomach virus, then at 315 AM Macee comes in and tells us she has thrown up in her bed. She had to be picked up yesterday due to diarrhea so I am 99.9% sure it is the "stomach bug" as she says. Daddy is home being Mr. Mom to the best of his ability and I am on standby in the event that it gets to out of control.

Also today was Macee's official school pictures but they will have a make-up day so she will get to take them then.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PRAY that I do not get this bug. I can not be down with two children and a husband unable to take care of themselves.
Until further notice, I am holding on tight and riding out the storm.

Later from Hurricane central!

When it Rain's........It Floods not pours!

May I begin by saying the Labor Day weekend was way to short. It has been a hectic 5 days at Sisson Manor. Thursday Brian breaks his finger tears the tendon into and gets 9 stitches. May I remind if that MEN are horrible patients. He is to have surgery tomorrow to repair the damage and hopefully get on the road to recovery. After spending all day in Jackson Friday at the Dr. we did not get anything other than see you Wednesday accomplished.
As we entered Kosciusko City Limits...... daycare calls and Mollie has 102 degree fever and we need to pick her up. To put icing on the cake, they have only sent home 10-12 others with STREP!!!!! We get to the clinic and they do the swab much to Mollie's bull fit and sure enough add her to the list of STREP patients. Nelli Kirkendall was wonderful... Thank you so much. Gave an antibiotic and Tylenol for fever. This is the weirdest thing though. No fever after Friday and she has not missed a lick. All the parents I have talked to say the only symptom their kiddos have is the fever also. No rash, no sore throat, no nothing just FEVER.
Well we are very blessed that Momma nor Macee have contracted the STREP what would the world do if MOM was sick ...... of course just move on along as if nothing was wrong. MOM = SUPERWOMAN sick or not.
Please say a prayer for us tomorrow that Brian;s surgery will be successful and that all the Sisson's will thrive on with the 4 day work week.
P.S. pray for me to have PATIENCE with the MAN PATIENT!!!! LOL!!!!!

A FEW RECENT PICTURES

I took these snaps at my NeeNaw's Sunday. Notice Mollie has a fake smile and eyes looking up every picture. (She refuses to be a shutterbug). Macee has a cheesy smile in almost everyone.
