Welcome to 4 Sisson's and A Dog, actually 2 dogs. Life in McCool can be a bit chaotic with two little girls but we would not have it any other way. Hope you enjoy reading about our adventures as nothing stays the same long and the fun times we have as a family. Happy Reading!

This and That

So far this week Macee has been a super big girl. she is so excited to go to school. This morning she even let Mrs. Daphne, Daphne Fancher Steed, take her to her room. She told Mommy not to even get out. It was a little sad for me but I am so proud of her and her Independence. Mollie is still not 100% sure that it is okay to "leab Matee Terr at big school".
Mollie is adjusting okay to being without her during the day except she wants to revert back to diapers about lunch time. This too, I pray will pass. We have worked so hard.
And also this week, we get to buy Brian a new (old) truck. The Toyota has officially died. RIP, it has been a good one. He is upset about his truck quitting and I am upset because we will have another payment. The Toyota was PAID FOR!!!!!! (Refer to last week blog about the truck for further info).
Also this weekend we get to take a Daddy & Mama trip to Sturgis for our 1st annual bike rally with our own motorcycle. I am really excited and looking forward to a little adult time. I love my little ladies but sometimes a break is nice.
Hope everyone has a great day.

First Day @ Greenlee

At School in front of the sign
In Front of my classroom door.
Today was a big day in the Sisson house. Macee Kerr Sisson officially is in school. She did perfect. She went in her room hung her backpack and started coloring. Mama and Daddy were both teary eyed but we survived.
A friend that works at the school sent me a text to let me know that Macee was great at breakfast and having a blast. I knew she would be fine. She even told Brian that she was sure she would be OK and do her best for him. She is so proud of her daddy, as he is of her.

DADDY
A daddy and his daughters, walking hand in hand,Though he can't spend much time with them,They say they understand. When he's at work or on a trip, the memory of him lingers,The two girls smile, they know they have him Wrapped around their fingers.A slight tilt of their pretty heads, a smile, a lowered glance,A hug and kiss and, "Daddy please?"He doesn't stand a chance! In later years he will recall, with tenderness and love,Two charming girls, with hands in his,Two blessings from above.

And the Tears Roll.....

As all mothers, I knew this day would come, just not as quickly as it did. Today was a breaker for me. As I got Macee out of the truck, I relized today was the last day I would take her to daycare. Tomorrow she starts BIG SCHOOL. She is so excited but Mama is really a train wreck. I cried when I got back in the truck this morning. Stay tuned....... More tears to fall tomorrow.

Krispy Kreme and Applebee's

Yesterday after church, we decided to take the kiddo's to the zoo. We left around 1 and after our few stops to get gas and food for the children along the way we arrive at the Jackson Zoo at 3PM. Well the zoo closes at 4 and they start putting up the animals at 3:15 (how crazy is this). We were unable to be admitted to the zoo so after a 20 minute meltdown because Macee wanted to ride the giraffe and Mollie wanted to see the efalamp (elephant), we headed over to County Line Road. We saw the HOT sign At KC and pulled in. My kids and myself love some donuts. Macee and Mollie got to witness the magic of donut making which also impressed me. I had seen it on TV but never in real life. (I must have been sheltered.)
After the KC we went over to the mall. We really just window shopped but still had a good time. Later we road over to Academy Sports and Brian bought me a new pool stick, pool is now my new favorite hobby. We coasted over to Lake Harbour Dr to have dinner at Macee's favorite place, Applebee's. We ordered and after we were about halfway finished the manager came over and told us supper was on them because the food was not prepared in a timely manner. I had no complaint but took the complimentary supper. Just as we were about finished, the air vent poured water on my head and drink so I guess the free supper was in due time. A good laugh later and we were McCool bound.
This week is a very big week in the Sisson house. Macee starts school Friday and is very ready, she has wanted to go since we registered her;however Mama is having a really hard time with this. I might by stock in Kleenex today. Rachel let me know if that friend you refer to in your blog can help me.
